SelectaDNA Nominated For ‘Design To Improve Life’ Award

IN AN excellent start to the New Year, SelectaDNA has been nominated for a prestigious award in Denmark.

With a prize fund of €500.000, The INDEX: Design to Improve Life award is considered to be one of the most important design awards in the world.

The SelectaDNA product range consists of a number of solutions containing a unique DNA code which can be used to uniquely mark and trace both items of property and criminals.

SelectaDNA has been designed to improve lives by effectively protecting valuable assets (burglary has been reduced by up to 85% in some areas) and by enabling stolen items such as family heirlooms to be returned to the rightful owner. It is also completely non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

The INDEX Award receives nominations from all over the world and is awarded biennially in Copenhagen, Denmark.

From the pool of more than a 1,000 nominations this year, an international jury including designers and members of the business community will select a group of finalists, which will be announced in June 2013.

All finalists will later have their products displayed in the world touring INDEX: Award 2013 Exhibition.
