More arrests have been made thanks to Cheshire Police’s Operation Shield, which uses SelectaDNA to protect homes and businesses across the county.
The scheme has already generated the lowest figures for domestic burglary in Cheshire in 25 years following its launch in 2015.
An arrest has been made resulting from a recent domestic burglary, another was made following the theft of a marked trailer; and a third involved the use of SelectaDNA Gel to mark the wallet of a vulnerable person. These cases are currently being processed through the courts.
