The two main supermarket groups in Denmark are to use SelectaDNA Spray to deter robbers from targeting their many stores across the country
Dansk Supermarked Group (DSG) and Coop are competitors in retail but have chosen the same system to fight back against robbery, which was happening at one of their stores on an almost daily basis.
The convenience store chain 7-Eleven will also be using the system, which sprays a DNA-coded mist that is traceable back to the crime scene on anyone breaking into a store to steal stock or fleeing from it with cash or goods.
