Around 20 churches in Denmark that have already been targeted for metal theft are now using SelectaDNA to protect valuables such as copper piping, iron lamps and ornate metal chairs.
One of the churches is Rise Church (pictured) in Rødekro in Southern Jutland. In November 2014, the church was broken into and some items were stolen.
Since deploying SelectaDNA, there have been no further break-ins. Gentofte Church in Copenhagen is the most recent to use SelectaDNA after having copper drainpipes stolen on three separate occasions.
