DNA Used For London Underground Protection

Unauthorised movement of live line detector boxes from one site to another has been curbed by Transport for London (TfL), after SelectaDNA was used to mark the valuable voltage tester devices to keep better track of their location.

Colin Padmore , Technical Support, TfL, said: “Everyone concerned with the SelectaDNA project to protect live line detector boxes is most impressed. Such a huge deterrent at very little cost. Also, to date none of the boxes have been stolen or moved without the appropriate authorisation."
