Selectamark has a management team with a wealth of knowledge and experience within the Security and Asset Identification industries. A brief summary is included below:

  James G Brown FIMI, Chairman
Jim founded Selectamark in 1985 and has been a Council member of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and the Australia and New Zealand Trade Advisory Committee (ANZTAC). Jim is also a member of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI), the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), and Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry (FIMI).
  Chris Taylor, Managing Director
Chris is Managing Director, having joined Selectamark in 1994 from a Managerial and Sales background in Radio Frequency Identification ("RFID"). Chris joined as Sales Manager and has been responsible for introducing quality systems, Industry Standards and Codes of Practice into the Company. Chris also sits on the LPCB panel G Committee.
  James Brown, Sales Director
James joined Selectamark in March 2002 having gained sales and import/export experience at a large Japanese trading house for 4 years, after graduating from Southampton University where he read Spanish. James works in the sales team and along with Roger and Chris looks after all Police and Community Safety accounts.
  Jason Brown ACA, Dip IDM, M IDM, Director of Business Development
Jason joined the company in June 2002 as Head of Business Development in charge of new projects and product development. Prior to Selectamark, Jason was Business Planning Manager at Freeserve.com plc for two years where he was involved in strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting for the UK's largest ISP. Jason gained his ACA qualification during his 5 year employment with KPMG in London and Milan.
  Bruce Van Biene IEng MIET Bsc, Technical Manager
Bruce joined Selectamark in 1998. Over 13 years, Bruce helped pioneer radio frequency ID ("tagging") technology in a number of application areas, both in the UK and internationally. Prior to joining Selectamark, Bruce worked in the Chief Engineer's Department at the Metropolitan Police for four years, providing technical support for the Police National Computer terminals. Bruce was later responsible for the support of the Force's Command and Control Network. At Selectamark, Bruce manages projects related to databases, radio frequency ID and biometrics.
  Roger Lyddon, Police Liaison
Roger joined us in February 2007 to liaise directly with UK Police Forces. Roger is an ex-police officer with 30 years experience - the last 12 years of which he was a Crime Prevention Officer and a Crime prevention Design Advisor with the Metropolitan Police Service. His expertise lies in Crime Prevention, Designing out Crime, Problem Solving, CCTV, Lighting, and Anti Terrorism Solutions. He is Home Office trained and has recently passed his Post Graduate Certificate in Community Safety and Crime Prevention.
  John Earnshaw FCIH, Head of Housing
John joined Selectamark in January 2008. John was Area Housing Manager for Barnsley MBC for 20 years and held a variety of other management posts with other local authorities and housing associations in the Yorkshire area, before moving to Kirklees MDC in 1997. It was here where John really made a name for himself, winning the Empty Homes Agency's National Award in 2001 for the 'Best strategy for tackling low demand'. Following this, a BBC documentary was made on his innovative strategy. John is a fellow of the CIH and a member of their Yorkshire and Humberside Branch Committee. He is also Chair of the Granby (Toxteth, Merseyside) Local Community Partnership.
  Laura Kenward, Sales Executive
Laura joined Selectamark in February 2006. Laura enjoys working in sales and managing customer accounts as she loves interacting with people. She is outgoing and has a great love of the theatre, starring in many local amateur shows. This has helped Laura develop her excellent people skills to build important customer relationships.
  Nigel Hart, Head of Technical Support
Nigel joined Selectamark at the beginning of 2008. Nigel's experience comes from 5 years working as an engineer on defence contracts, and 14 years of product design and worldwide support/training in the security industry. Nigel is responsible for the design, development and support of new products.
  Dai Davies, Consultant
Dai is a Director and Lead Consultant of Selectamark Consultancy Ltd. He retired from the Metropolitan Police in 1998 where he had been the Operational Commander in charge of Royalty Protection. Dai was responsible for the security of the Royal Family, the Palaces and 450 police officers. His career spanned 30 years of operational front line duty.
  Dr Ken German, Motoring & Vehicle Crime Advisor
Ken looks after and promotes SELECTADNA within the UK Motor Vehicle Industry. As a former Police sergeant, Ken has a wealth of experience dealing with vehicle crime, and has also served on the Stolen Vehicle Squad and as a Crime Reduction officer at the Serious and Organised Crime Squad, New Scotland Yard. Ken is currently President of IAATI and a member of the Home Office Motor Cycle Industry Theft Action Group as well as a Doctor of Philosophy with a degree in law studies.

  Angela Singleton, Press Officer
Angela looks after all press and PR related material and events for Selectamark. Angela has previously worked in the newsroom at the BBC and as a current affairs programme researcher. She has also worked as a news editor at media firm PR Newswire and as a journalist and editor for the national news agency, the Press Association. She has most recently worked as a journalist and commissioning editor for the London Press Service, which currently produces the news website for the UK Trade and Investment Department.
